Christian Middelthon

Christian is one of the leading experts in the Norwegian meeting and event industry. He has been working in this industry since 1997 when he started his own event management company in Stavanger (Norway). After nearly ten years in this company, he decided to seek new challenges and moved to Oslo. Working for a major event management company for two years he went on his own again. As a member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) he found interest in "what is there to bring real value to meetings and events". Christians focus since he entered this industry has always been three things; knowledge, innovation and technology. Studying ROI, Meeting Architecture, Strategic Meetings Management and other important fields has lead to the rise of MeetingConsult.

Christian is a former Vice President of Education in MPI Norway and has developed a wide range of lectures for the Norwegian industry. He is also the founder and President of a new networking forum (Arrangementforum) for the Norwegian industry with a more "local vision" than MPI. For the year 2010-2011 he is also a board member of MPI Norway and a member of the MPI's International Chapter Advisory Council.

Christians hobbies are bikeriding, windsurfing, trekking and cross country skiing.
